About Ocean Geo

Ocean Gao is a queer, Asian American student at Wesleyan University, majoring in American Studies and minoring in Integrated Design, Engineering, and Applied Sciences. They have received the 2015 Princeton Prize for Race Relations, as well as Wesleyan University's 2016 Chadbourne Prize, awarded to one "first-year student outstanding in character, conduct, and scholarship." Their fundraiser for #BlackLivesMatter, which fuses art and activism, has been photographed in the New York Times and exhibited/collected by the Smithsonian.
